Are you brand new to the game or coming back after taking years off? Get Golf Ready is the program for you. Get Golf Ready is a program created by the PGA of America. Through extensive research by the Boston Consulting Group, the PGA has created a proven method to get you on the course and playing! It is an affordable way to learn the game for beginners. Through a series of 5 lessons, taught by our Head Golf Professional Chase Wells, you will learn the basics on putting, chipping, sand shots, full swing, and how to keep pace. Rental sets are provided free of charge.

Chase Wells, our PGA Head Golf Professional, offers personalized and small group lessons. Chase has been teaching golf for ten years. He played collegiate golf at Lynn University on Boca Raton, FL and has been playing competitive golf since the age of 10. Chase teaches every aspect of the game including course management. He believes all students are unique and understands that everyone has different learning styles.

2313761Scott's World of Golf (SWOG)

The Practice Facility at Charleston National is home to Scott's World of Golf, led by Scott Rosenthal, Director of Golf Instruction. Voted South Carolina's "Golf Coach of the Year", Scott is a renowned youth instructor currently coaching some of the highest ranked young players in the county. He brings over 25 years of experience to each lesson, helping those who have never picked up a club to those wanting to break 100 or golf competitively. Scott's World of Golf offers private lessons and group instruction for every age and level of player. Young players enjoy an exciting After-School golf program for all school ages and levels, and the SWOG "Girl's Club" was designed just for girls ages 6-12 to learn the game and have a great time. When school is out, Summer and holiday golf camps are offered. For ladies, SWOG offers the famous "Never-Ending" Ladies Clinic and "The Next Step" for beginner and intermediate players, seeking focused small group instruction. Men's beginner clinics are also available throughout the year.
